Description:
During the "Child of Daralet" the Slayer of Hope, Bael'zharon himself broke free of his prison. The waters of the world turned to blood, all who would challenge the might of Bael'zharon were slain, and it truly seemed as if hope itself had died.

Yet during this time of darkness, it was discovered that three artifacts could be combined to weaken Bael'zharon's strength. The first of these was guarded by the Dericost in an ancient Empyrean Cloister. And what was this great item that could bring so mighty a being low? It was the Skull of Avorean Palacost, his son, and the source of his anguish.

Three other powerful items were also discovered within the depths of the Cloister: the Obsidian Dagger, the Empyrean Scalemail Shirt, and the Barbed Fletching Tool. The Skull of Avorean Palacost must be combined with the Heart of Shadow from the Shade Stronghold and the Fragment of the Singularity from the Chakron Flux dungeon before it can be used.

The Cloister entrance is limited to Levels 15-30. Midway through the quest, the Cloister splits into two halves: Lower (Levels 15-25) and Upper (Levels 20-30).
